Four States Fiber crossed another milestone in January as we are now servicing over 2,000 subscribers! Our team is incredibly grateful to be serving 2,000 homes and businesses, and we will keep the progress coming every day so that all SWREA members can have access to reliable fiber services.
Fiber Construction Update
Fiber built to date: 1,451 miles
Four States Fiber services are currently available to over 7,800 homes & businesses in the Nashville, Lockesburg, Foreman, North Texarkana and De Queen zones.
Crews are working to finish splicing & testing in our remaining De Queen zones and expect those to open very soon. Lake Erling and Bradley zones have began splicing and will start opening towards the end of 1st Quarter.
Construction progress was slow in January due to the weather and ground saturation. While factors like weather or repairs during testing can delay zone openings, please know that our crews are working hard to bring service to every SWREA member in the fastest amount of time possible. Original estimates are approximate and subject to change as our construction teams update their timelines during the build process.
Bringing fiber to your homes is a seven step process that takes around a year to complete for each zone. Check out where we are below to get a better idea of what our crews are doing to make sure you have the fastest internet available!
